About Me

My name is Ms. Stevens and this is my third year teaching art at Holy Rosary Catholic School. This year, I am excited that my duties have been expanded to include grades Pre-K through 8th grade at both Holy Rosary and St. Pius Catholic Schools. With over 400 students at two schools, it makes for a whirlwind of art making and I LOVE it!

Prior to coming to the Guardian schools, I spent over two decades developing, teaching and supervising cultural art and enrichment programs for organizations including the Town of Palm Beach, Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation, Foster City Parks and Recreation, and Big Brothers Big Sisters in Bozeman Montana. Most recently, I was employed as the Community Program Manager with the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens here in Jacksonville, FL.

I received my Bachelors of Science in Leisure Services from Florida State University and a Masters degree in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University. I also attended Montana State University where I completed over 30 credit hours in Art. In addition to being an art teacher, I am a practicing artist and jewelry maker.

I think being an Art Teacher is the best job in the world! My favorite artists are the ones I teach and I look forward to sharing my knowledge and passion for art with them.
